There are various fields like food production, processing, dairy, farm machineries, soil conservation and irrigation. The related practice of gardening is studied in horticulture.

Agricultural courses include chemistry, botany, microbiology, soil science and animal physiology. Students are also introduced to basic concepts in agricultural systems, data analysis, agricultural business and economics.
